16x zoom- same picture 14 kilometers away

    Hi, here are 2 cool pictures of the same building. One demonstrates great zoom without a big slr lens.

    The first one is a close-up:

    The next is 14 km away. It is taken on 4x optical and 4x digital zoom, totaling 16x:

    The zoom picture is taken with the Casio Exilim EX-P600.

    For comparison, do you have one taken at 14Km without any zoom, optical or digital?

    Ok. I found it. Here is a 600 pixel version:
    A added a red loop around the building. (You can barely see it, even on the big picture. But when I looked on the original 6 Megapixel, it was there.)

    You can definitely tell it is zoomed though with all the grain and loss of clarity. Pretty cool to see this kind of stuff though.

    Yeah, digital zoom blurs the pixels. It is a bit more effective than just enlarging the pixels, though(On some cameras).

zoom 14 km
