18-70 lens question

I know someone that is selling a 18-7- 3.5-4.5 dx lens in excellent condition for $55.00. Has anyone used this lens and is worth getting for my d7100?

Definitely worth it! I generally see them going for $90-100; it's (IMO) the best kit lens ever, optically. The build quality is less than optimal, BUT at least it has a metal mount, and it has very little CA and distortion.
