1st attempt at night time photography

    This is my 1st proper go of getting some night time photography in since buying the camera about two months ago, so this was pretty new to me, but managed to get a few photos I was happy with. I just spent a few hours around downtown Toronto

    Particularly happy with this one, some reason I just love how the red goes against a pretty much mono surrounding

    I started my photography in night shots; running around at night with a tripod scaring people half to death... it's a lot of fun!

    I really like where these, keep it up. Some things I try to look for are nights with little wind, as any trees or organic material will shake in the wind causing them to blur and also nights with some cloud cover to give some extra ambient light.

    the first one i love it i love it i love it! what is it? meh i don't really care, it looks great whatever it is. actually, i want to know... what is it?

    Haha, thanks

    Its actually a water feature in downtown toronto, just loved the colours of it so decided to try and capture it
