    The first looks underexposed. I also find myself asking "what does the photographer want me to see here, and why?" I like how the branches radiate away from the empty nest.

    The second has a color balance issue (has a greenish cast), and it looks as if if needs to be rotated a couple of degrees to the right. It might be more effective to concentrate on the details. Maybe take a few tight shots here to see what you can come up with. The foreground elements are a bit distracting.

    i them both er111a. two interesting subjects and the different exposures and levels are cool.

    How'd you do the first one? 3rd floor window, ladder, climbing?

    I like them both, the second one is cool to me it looks older.

    The unique perspective of #1 makes it a good one for me... the colors are also rich. It is a tad dark though.

    #2... the tilt is distracting and it looks like it could use some extra contrast. The bright sky in the back is a little overpowering for me too.

    im really new to this but i just wanted to say i really like the 1st one, i like the way the nest isnt right in the middle of the image.
