2 girls 1 photo haha.

Thanks for the tips VI :)
So you need a flash that can adjust the output power something like the 285hv, right?

Sigma 530
Sunpak 383
Canon 430EX
Nikon SB28
etc...

Most flashes have manual adjustments of some sort or another. You just have to watch for the ones that don't. I think the 420EX only fires at full power and in TTL metering mode.

Ed: In fact, you can do what I posted in my last post with a on camera TTL flash metering correctly. Metering the background down to a tiny bit under exposed and then recomposing on the foreground subjects without changing anything but the focus and it should meter and correctly set the flash for the subjects in the foreground while still having a slightly underexposed background.

I think that's what clarity did.

Are you gonna repost a 2nd attempt with this pic?

What did you shoot with?

Yeah Im pretty sure it was the clarity that killed it, oh well.
Ill repost another one when i get home from work.

And i just used a d60 w/ the sb800 flash.
i dont remember what my settings were exactly, i'll look when i get home.

I really like this one esp since its not an hdr.
