    This was my first time shooting a live band performance. i used the 50mm of course. the 24-70 would have been perfect once again....they are not WOW but i was happy for a first try. The dude with the white hat is my cousin.

    iknow in 4 i did cut the guitar...ohh well!

    The black and white ones are awsome...really gives you the mood.

    Really like the second black and white shot! Seems like you bounced your flash/and or used a diffuser? Sharpen them up a bit! Rock photography is a bit on the gritty side so don't be afraid to bust a few rules!

    Thanks all,

    I was using a SB-600 + an aurora bounce card. in picutre 1 -3 -4,

    picture 2 was taken with no flash
