I particularily would like some comments on this one:

Wow! Love the colors and composition in the second one. I don't know how I feel about the first one. It's ok, the coposition is good, just doesn't really pop for me.

Thanks! The first one is an old photo; it i one of what I think to be my best images, but lately it's lacking something, as you said. I took the latter yesterday, and I'm quite surprised and happy with it!

Does anyone have any comments on the first picture? I'd really like to knoW how to improve it. The annoying stalk on the right has been cloned out (below), but I'd really like some feedback!

I really like the colors in the picture of the blue flower. I think it would look even better if you got in closer.

The picture of the flower and the person:
It's two subjects which compete for each other and the background does nothing but complicate the scene even more. I see where you were going with it. Maybe try shooting from a higher angle and with the person closer. So all you have is the flower (larger) with the person and the grass as the background.
