i like the first one but both are out of focus

2 is underexposed 1 needs a faster shutter speed and i think you missed the focus on it. Keep on shooting maybe get a 2.8 lens and experiment with what works.

#1 it almost looks like the autofocus picked up the stands or the goal in the background instead of the player. were you using the center AF point or one on the left?
