2nd attempt at Macro

    This macro thing is more difficult than I though it would be. I have a new found respect for you guys! Especially after see others images then looking at what I produce.... Well here is my second attempt.

    waaaay too dark. i suggest using a hotshoe flash, it will change the way you do your macros indefinately.

    Definitely need some better light. A diiffused SB-600 would be plenty and even better if you use it off camera for interesting lighting angles.

    Hey all, thanks for the comments. I Did use an off camera Flash SB-800. I had other shots with the flash a little closer, but he was so white it just didn't look good. I pulled the flash back off on this one and he looked better to me. I have posted a brighter image.

    Thanks for the help, that is why I'm here.

    I actually quite like the contrasting brightness of the lizard alongside the dark leaf. You might want to edit out the flash bounce in (her?) eye though.
