3 x Pentatomidae (?)

    Can others edit my Photos:

    My guess is that this insect is of the Pentatomidae (Shield bug) family.
    No insects were harmed during the session :D

    They aren't inherently pretty insects, I should say! But you captured them nicely. Mostly so in 3. Where did you put him and how did you light him for that photo?

    Thanks :) - I brought it into my kitchen - and put him on a sheet of paper - then lit it up from overhead with an external flash.

    (Macro photography is tricky but fun :D )
