I've experimented a bit with these, stitching with Photoshop Photomerge or a standalone product like Panavue or OmniStitch, and then posting using Java (ptviewer), but find I can't get a decent resolution, especially if I zoom in. Seems I'm limited to a filesize of around 600k.

Some articles I'd found online seemed to point to size limits with the Java VM, and so I'm starting to look toward Flash-based viewers. Some are quite pricey, but I have found a couple more reasonable.

The issue is that most seem to require cubic images, and the prgrams to create those cubic images are quite pricey as well.

Since I'm still playing around I don't really want to spend more than $100 or so. Has anyone used a Flash-based tool that allows me to save and display a higher resolution image, that can accept partial or full 360 degree equirectangular panoramas (like those created in Photoshop, as source images) at a reasonable price?
