So some of you may have seen my recent flops with trying to come up with business cards, this is my 3rd shot at it and I think I'm finally getting somewhere. Please let me know what you think!

Not that I know how to design business cards....but I find the card a tad plain and boring.

I think it has potential, but there are a few things I would change...

    1. NO BLACK BORDER! Borders are generally a bad idea for business cards. The way they are printed and cut is not exact, and since they're so small, you will notice the uneven borders.

    2. Make the phone number and email a bit smaller, and leave some space between that and you're name.

    3. Does the paint splatter "fit" the type of photography/clients you are targeting? If so, keep it. If not, try something more fitting.

    Hope this helps!

Big big improvement! Very nice, i would loose the black border even though i think it makes it a bit more interesting, but yeah!!

Much improved over the first attempt. The only thing I consider when looking for a logo on a business card, letterhead, or other media is how will translate printed, on the web and even on embroidered on shirts or screen printed.

I am afraid you could not use that on a shirt it just would embroider well.

Consider all mediums when coming up with a card design.

    Hi Tyler

I would agree with many of the comments above. Lose the border, spread out a bit more. I like it justified to the right, but they look a bit off. Play with the font sizes. Do you have a website? How about some color? or a great photo?

My 1st impression is not one of a photographer, it looks more like a painter's card.

Cards are tough...I should talk, I need to work on my own!!

I will be curious to see what you come up with!

thank you! i agree i have a lot of tinkering around, but i think im heading in the right direction as opposed to my other 2 attempts. I tried the picture thing and then decided to do something simple.
