Just as the title states, I have seen on Adorama that they sell teleconverters and the I was looking at was around 220$ I think, here's the link

Are they worth the money? and how does it affect your image quality? I was just wondering, I looked around but couldn't find much in the way of reviews. I was thinking of getting a good sigma or tamron telephoto lense to 300mm and adding this piece. Anyway, as always, any and all feedback is appreciated and thanks for your time...

Yes. Most wont even touch a 2x due to IQ. Its nice if you already have nice fast glass but sometimes need that extra reach. You have to not that you will lose a few stops of light when using a TC.

I would get as low a multiplier as possible for two reasons. The image quality goes closer to the toilet the strong a teleconverter. Also, there is additional light fall off with teleconverters above that which is inherent in a longer prime or even a zoom lens. If you get a teleconverter, I would go no higher than 2x.
