    Hey, i just got a canon 430EX for my birthday :) what would you suggest i look into and try.

    it turns your camera into a sail boat so watch out :( I broke mine. I love it though...hope it gets back from canon soon

    Sorry, that was really funny!

    I would suggest one of these, or something similar to make the light softer.

    If you want to try it out, take some portrait shots.

    I'd totally recommend a gary fong lightsphere II. I debated about getting it for quite some time because of the $40 price tag (bh photo video link up top). However... I got it as a Christmas gift and LOVE it. No, not for everything...but it is exceptional for rooms with low ceilings or rooms with walls nearby.

    (people will say you can make your own...worth a try I suppose, I made one, but like the actual fong better)

    yeah it snapped off one of the sides of the shoe...just the plastic part. We tried glue but it didnt work lol...hope they will still fix it. They siad they would for free.
