sorry missed out a brief discription
shot this with my 70-200mm in phuket, thailand... first time ever i tried shooting butterfly's... a not so good attempt.. they just kept flying!

Wow, there I go about TRYING to photograph butterflies for years and never come up with a good pic (only the other day, for the first time), and here you are, trying to capture one for the first time --- and it is good already. Hmph.

Though I would not have minded to see also the antennae in focus (what is the correct term for those?) ... but that's me nitpicking to canalize my envy ( jk).

I agree with LaFoto... the DOF is a little short but thats asking a lot for the little things that flit away like crazy. I thinks its great that you got a second one up in the corner like that. Very nice shot!

good work mansi...tough to grab these guys when its warm out...like the compo. at first i thought the wire was some sort of curly fungus like you see on trees sometimes
