5D Mark II Firmware update - dots cured.

I usually let others run patches and updates first, then let me know how it went... but this camera update is a first for me...

BTW - Do not choose an OS from the drop down on the cannon site, if you do the patch disappears.

Don't miss the picture style editor & dpp updates for full compatibility, not that I use them.

I have not run the firmware update yet, I want a clear head, not distracted by work et all.

ahhh nice. I noticed my first black dots in a photo I shot in JPEG. Have never seen it in a RAW yet, and hardly ever use JPEG, Not a huge deal to me, but I'll get around to installing it in a little while. It's very nice that Canon has already addressed this. Thanks for sharing!
