Hello,

I met this individual whilst scouting for portraits a long time ago. To be perfectly honest, I had forgotten I'd taken the shot, and only found it when reviewing the contents of my SD card. Anyway, I'm pleased I found it.

I edited the image to create a painterly aesthetic.

@Jeff15 they are all panels of the same composition, without benefit of the others it wouldn't be a triptych. 😉

@Black_Square interesting presentation of contrast in a single image as you reduce saturation. Sometime ago I started using a B&W check layer at the top of my stack when doing blemish removal and dodge and burn. Makes it easier to see the areas needing correction.
 
I love the full color one. Great shot.

Was the background added digitally? It looks great.
