Hi there Guys,

I have a question that's been bugging me. I've been photographing for quite some time now. And I've come across a certain type of B/W pictures which a like a lot. How do I make my pictures like this in LR or PS?

I've tried loads of things, even downloaded actions. But none really seamed to work.

It would be a blast if anyone could help me out here, and thanks in advance!

It looks like the edges are vignetted, the contrast bumped up a bit and magenta added. And some noise.

agreed.
some possible level adjustments too (to the dark side.)

i agree with the above

would also say there was sharpening done which i believe was added after the grain (the border was vignetted after this)

ok so I tried to get this look in LR and I kinda did.
