A few 'absracts' around the garden

Just thought I'd take a different view of things...

Here's one of a small plant pot we keep outside

and I liked the crop on this watering can shot!

Wellll i dont usually bump, as i just take the lack of comments to be a general "thumbs down" verdict, but anyone got any comments?

Aren't we all on here seeking approval from others?

There is very little focus in the photos and nothing seems to stand out and grab attention...maybe this is because of the lack of focus.

hmm, you know you're right. Maybe I was just caught up in thinking they looked good. There can be a fine line between good and shockingly bad.

I think with the first one the background is really nice though... but i just didn't really catch any leaves/flowers in the foreground to make it interesting?

Thanks anyway, I shall endeavour to improve, that's what it's all about!

I'd have to agree. On the first, my eyes search for a spot to look at, and when they find it, only a little is in focus. The second... something about it isn't appealing.
