Here are a few bugs I shot recently.

They were all shot on manual using a 50mm f1.8 lense and extension tubes and a 1.4x TC.

Overall very nice work. My monitor here at work isn't good enough to make a comment on slight over-sharpening, so I'll leave that alone. The only real critique item I have is that some of the lighting is either uneven or overly harsh. Granted this is the most difficult thing about macro work, but you're doing a good job here, might be worth looking into a ringlight.

Thanks for the comment tirediron.

I know the flash was a bit harsh. I found it hard to control with the scottowel over the flash. I have a lot of work to do to get my lighting set up better.

Cheers

Wow so much detail, great shots, I think you have got the sharpness just right on number 2, a tiny bit more would of been too much.

I love them all, but the first one is my favorite. It's great to the point where it grosses me out. =D

Very nice pics with great details.

Thanks for the nice comments all!!

I enjoyed taking these in my parents garden during a visit.

Cheers
