But don't you agree that it was a most colourful event?
I like that lady's broad laugh in Photo 2, and the alignment of the two ladies with their old costumes in Photo 3, and all those handsome dancers in Photo 6!

Makes me want to dig out my photos from last year's Folklore Festival in the neighbouring town too .

Yes I have to agree! The colours were great, but somehow when I'm at home, looking at the pictures I seem to always prefer to take out the colour almost completely (but not ALL of it ..), so you can focus on the expressions of the people...But that's just me....

I love both the coloured and black and white photos but the second photo is by far my favourite. You have captured her facial expression beautifully "D

Thank you! These shots were taken at an international folklore Festival of the CIOFF held in Mersch/Luxemburg.
This festival lasts for about a week an the different groups are going to perform in various places...

I really like this series...and I also love #2.

My only critique would be that they seem a tad washed out. I would push these through the Shadow/Highlight filter.
