A Few Downtown Shots for C and C

This past weekend I was in Regina, SK for work and had some free time early in the morning to head out and snap some pictures.

The action shots of the birds are shot at shutter speed priority of 1/500 second while the 'still' shots of the birds on the ground were shot at aperture priority of 5.6 or 6.0.

These shots were taken during a sunny day, fairly early in the morning.

Any comments and feedback would be great!

#4 & 5 are very interesting compositions. The rest don't do much for me.

4 is just the smallest hint crooked and maybe a little too bright in spots, but other than that, I like it. I also like 1, a little sharper and cropped closer if possible. 2 and 3 have too much dead space, nice catch on 2. 5 is okay, I don't really like it, but that's probably just me. 6 is pretty boring, not much color or anything.

Photo 4 appeals to me, as you made use of all the lines and paid most attention to the graphic elements you were getting out of the architecture. I really like that.

I'm still debating with myself whether I like 5 as much? I don't think so.

The geese don't say "downtown" to me.
You got fairly close! And you tried some panning in the goose-in-flight photo. Cool. Not QUITE in focus, but... And the landing, well, if only the entire goose had got into the frame...
