A few Match shots...

Have seen a few people photographing matches recently and they looked interesting enough so I thought I'd have a go...

It's my first time taking photos in a sort of "studio" setup indoors, using different lights etc.

I've only recently gotten myself a new Macbook, so I'm limited to iPhoto for the moment until I invest in Aperture, but I made a few adjustments to the colouring in both of these.

The composition of the first is quite interesting ... nice play with empty spaces.

Cool close-up in #2, but I prefer the colour of #1 to the tungsten yellow in 2.
