Well, you said the dark side. That's Nikon.
Canon's new 20D processes better than the Mark 2 at $1500. I'm about to get one and have my 10D as a second body.

Well, I guess I skipped that part. The only p&s I've used was the Nikon 4500 or 4900 (if those numbers are right). I hated them so much I traded for an NC2000e. The picture quality was 100 times better with the newer, but I couldn't handle how slow it was.

Nice photos, Matt. I started with the G1 years ago and it was a good camera. My sister in law has the G3 and loved it as well. Being a Canon person, I say go for the G6
