I finally forced myself to edit the huge backlog of photos I've had since this Summer. Here's a fre IR shots. Two of them are from Fort McHenry in Baltimore, MD, the last is from Houston, TX...and 2006.

1. Fort McHenry in IR (May 2008)

2. White Spire (May 2008)

3. Still (July 2006)

Great series, #2 takes the cake for me.

As to Treymac's question, you can achieve this look in PS. But it never looks right. Pick up a Hoya IR filter, and go out and shoot.

They are all shot with a Nikon D70 and Hoya RM-72 IR filter. THe color will come out very, very red if you don't set white balance in the camera, but that can easily be corrected with whatever RAW conversion software you use!

Thanks guys

nice pictures i really love it how you edit this

very nice, i love #2, nicely done!!

the first two are great

Wow, nice shooting Joe!! Love the angle in the first one (I feel like a giant arrow is pointing right at me). And I'm not just trying to be different...I really love 3. The soft colours and reflection and framing make it such a 'peaceful' shot
