A few pics from Fairford Air display last year

Gearing up for this years air display, i was flicking through last years shots that i took. Thought I would share, since I haven't posted for a while...

I took lots more but, most were not so good. In fact about half i exposed badly or only got the tail-end of the plane:blushing:, but some of them were pushing 600mph.

Still another lesson learned...

Good job! Better than my Osprey pics, and that bird was going only 100 mph (est.)

on all of these, for I fear I would not ever even get only one plane into my frame, let alone a formation, and so nicely composed as in Photo 3!!! Very nice. And last year the weather seems to have been "just right" - let's hope for the best for this year, right?

Thanks guys, yeah i'm really hoping that the weather will hold out this year. It usually does and i end up getting burnt.....
