Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
So I'm new to photography, I tried exercising with my new camera in order to fully master my camera as well as to practice my skill!

I have taken a series of pictures at sunset in a park. Please comments on them so that I can improve! Thanks!

Would they being underexposed?

I personally like them the way they are! Keep up the good work

They're not bad at all...The horizon is straight, which is a common problem for noobies.

I really like 2. I touched it up I did because I was bored.

What a great location!

What were you camera settings?

Well I don't think they're underexposed in my opinion, assuming what you were trying to capture was the sunset and not the cityscape.

The funny thing about our eyes is that our brains do a lot of "post-processing" before we ever really interpret the image, so when we look at a sunset we can see the cityscape and the sunset equally well. To a camera, though, in a scene with high dynamic range like this, you're going to end up capturing one side or the other - either you get the cityscape nicely exposed and blow out the sunset, or you get the sunset nicely exposed and lose the cityscape.

You might want to read up on HDR photography, where you take several pictures at different exposures and combine them in software using tone mapping so that you get "the best of both worlds." However, I think these photos are great the way they are.

Also, I really like MGriff240's edit. :)

Thanks everyone for the comments!

I used manual setting when I was taking those pictures, ISO 200, 0 EV.

I was trying to use aperture priority, but I couldn't manage it well, so the pictures were not great compare to those I posted.

MGriff240's edit looks a lot better to me! :)

What was your shutter speed and aperture?

You would tilt thecamera, but he/she is saying good job on keeping it level.

#1. F/5.6, 1/200s

#2. F/5.3, 1/200s

#3. F/5.6, 1/200s

#4. F/16, 1/60s

How do you think? Cuz I know there's a common rule for using aperture and shutter speed, I'm still working on them tho! I'm easily shake but I don't have a tripod, so I would let the use larger aperture for low light scene.

I did a quick white balance adjustment on number 1 just to see... This iwas the result...

It looks better! I think I should pay attention to the white balance next time!
