a few pictures i recently took

ok, well i'm pretty new to this
buttt,
I had to take pictures for a scavenger hunt
and as i had nothing better to do at 2am the other night i decided to give it a try
i got 4 of the 10 items and took some relatively quick shots of them
i had so many ideas for them, but i didn't bother as it was late and i didn't really have the resources, though i might try them later.
so they are pretty boring i think ?

any comments/suggestions ?

Now this is a nice little random collection of your photos, it seems like you quite like to arrange things on your desk to photograph them. What do you work with, you get nicely close to things.

I particularly like the close-up of the fork, uses some interesting POV and DOF (so you get to know our forum abbreviations right from the start): point of view and depth of field .

these were simply taken on my Olympus SP-500UZ
no special lenses needed or anything, cheap, easy and not too shabby
