A free gift...

Even though it's film, I can't complain, it was free gift from a fellow photographer though she is a professional and I'm hoping to get my hands on a D70 within the next couple of weeks. Can anyone tell me if the lense would be compatible with the D70? And how much would the lense be worth? I love taking pics but obv. still a newb...thanks

Should be. Read the "accessories" section of the D70 manual when you get it it'll mention lenses which don't work despite having F-Mounts.
