    i have a few more but im still not used to ubuntu and i need to use gimp until i get photoshop reinstalled (i cant get the installer to work on ubuntu... hope i haven't wasted my money!!!)
    so i guess... have a glass of apple until i get the rest up.

    Not feeling it really... need to blow out the background more and get rid of that yellow dot at the bottom.

    I agree with N0yze and I think it would be neat if the glass had a really delicate stem. You are definitely onto something

    I think I'd like to see the stem coming out of the water, that would be cool. Also, maybe stick another apple in the shot, maybe like at the base or something.

    Regardless, I like the idea.

    I tried getting the stem out the water but because the shape and the bouyancy of the apple, it just wouldn't work...
    images were hand held in a room lit only by tungsten light, the Glass was placed on a glass table (the yellow thing is a grain of rice!!!!)
    and the backdrop is my filing cabinet why happens to be (almost? 18% grey)
    so used that to set my WB
    and i had no one with me to hold the apple until the second i wanted the image
