A poll was perhaps not the best way to go on this one, as the options available to the voter are too narrow.

I'm no expert by a longshot, but my 'Joe Public' views are: I like the side view and that he's not looking at the camera, I like the splash of colour that the balloon provides, but I find the image a bit dark, and because the child in the bright shirt in the background is still fairly 'visible' (ie not more blurred), it's a bit distracting from the main subject of your image. Just my two cents worth!

And hey, welcome to the forum, and I look forward to seeing more of your posts!

There's no need to discontinue the poll, I was just suggesting that asking for actual comments (as opposed to someone ticking off a box with the wording you chose) might have been a preferable way of getting feedback.

Thanks for welcoming me, though I would not agree with the idea of bored looks. Some of the part of the expression may pertain to it. However, there is much more than that. For example I find a hint also of an the air of abstraction. Now what is the relation between the the air of abstraction and that of the boredom would be quite interesting to explore.
Cheers
