Thanks for stopping by.

Very cool, the clouds in the vally really add the finishing touches, it would have been nice to see some backlighting on the tree in the left forground, it looks like there was some? but all too fleeting?

now thats a view I could live with, great shot

I love the golden sky, the mountains line and the clouds below!!!

I love this image and keep coming back to it. It takes my breath away. The composition is beautiful (IMHO), with the tree framing the shot on the left, and the orb of the sun offset to the right. The subtle shades of the rolling hills, contrasted against the white clouds in the valley and the orangey glow of the sun, give such balance. It looks like a peaceful, magical place to watch the sun set.

Beautiful photo. Nice color. I couln't find a thing wrong with it.....

very sharp !! I like the changing contrast in the atmosphere ie.. the lines of mountins on top of each other ... looks like this was a hard shot to pull off range wise, you did a great job ....

So what DOES the expression "A Kokanee Moment" stand for?
Are these moutains called Kokanee Mountains, and was the moment this very last moment before the sun disappeared behind said mountains?
I might be too thick in the head to get it, sorry...........!

But I am not too thick in the head to see when a photo is a treasure!
This one is.
The reasons have all been listed by all the others before me! :D
