A Kokanee Moment

So what DOES the expression "A Kokanee Moment" stand for?
Are these moutains called Kokanee Mountains, and was the moment this very last moment before the sun disappeared behind said mountains?
I might be too thick in the head to get it, sorry...........!

But I am not too thick in the head to see when a photo is a treasure!
This one is.
The reasons have all been listed by all the others before me!

Nope your not thick in the head at all, just not from the area or Canada. Kokanee's are a range of mountains and sight to the kokanee glacier. A beer brewing company established itself near the glacier and called it's product Kokanee beer which is quite popular across Canada.

By the "moment" I meant that: Having been at that location several times before the sun came up I knew I only had a moment to take the picture as to have the sun exactly where I wanted to be. A moment latter and the sun would have been to bright for me to capture the foreground without totally blowing out the sun and also losing the color in the sky. The sun rises very fast over the mountains
