Judging from the popularity of the "5 favorite movie thread" I know that I am not alone in the excitment/antcipation of our favorite event. Yes I know I am a hippocrate for supporting the racist B.S Academy, but the incomparable Sydney Lumet has been nominated for an " Honorary Award"

Personally I thought "12 Angry Men" was brilliant, by the the time I saw "The Verdict" I was floored by his writing.
