A mule, a bird and uh i dunno....

I took these yesterday. It was pretty cloudy and I'm surprised they came out as well as they did...well, the mule one. The bird is some type of giant-freakin-long-legged-water-bird-thing...he was about...oh....400 ft in the sky. Lucky shot nabbed a fuzzy pic so I went with it. artsy, i know..but HEY - it's still a BIRD.

Ok, this one isn't your typical "nature" shot, but there is some Kudzu or Ivy or some sort of green plant in the background! NATURE! YAY!

What do you guys think?

Thanks Alonso. I actually had that printed up 16 X 20 just to "test out" my 10MP camera and it came out looking pretty good. The only thing I wasn't ready for was the arfitifcial lighting effect i used on the statue really...and i mean REALLY stands out in a larger size!

#2 would be a keeper if the tip of the nose wasn't cut off.
I like the tone of #3, but the composition and blowout don't work IMHO.

thanks saltface. luckily, the little guy lives near me and comes to the fence when i show up. there will be another day for that little mule.

and yes, the lighting effect is off and a bit too much of a good thing.
