A new endeavor for me...

    These are not the kind of shots I would normally take, but since I'm trying to broaden my horizons, I made my first attempt today. I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks in advance!

    I think there shot well... but there not really my thing either...

    Thanks! No, I didn't add anything except for adjusting the brightness/contrast on both a little. Well, and some cropping on the first. It's pretty much how the picture was taken. I'm not sure if that answers your question though, I'm still new at this!

    It's a Fujifilm Finepix S5100, since I can't afford a DSLR.

    Is this like a trick picture? Isn't there supposed to be a dog in it??? :wink: :lol:

    I really like the first one. Love the hint of purple.

    Yes, you're right, but you know how difficult some of these models can be! :wink:


    I think it lies somewhere between point and shoot and DSLR, but I use all the manual settings on the camera.
