OK, so this has been othering me for a long time, and I'm fed up.

Can someone PLEASE tell me why the Geico gekko suddenly has a cockney accent? What happened? Is it simply that they fired the other actor or is it supposed to be a different gekko altogether?

At first I thought that he was an imposter and was going to try to take over, but it seems that he's just the Geico gekko...

Am I the only one that is bothered by this?

I don't know if you get the Alexander Keiths commercial down there in the U.S. but that Scottish guy that's in them was just charged with possesion of child pornography.

99.1 FM used to be the progressive/alternative radio station here in the Baltimore/Washington area. One of the DJs, Johnny Riggs (who was the best f'in' DJ they had) got busted for possession of coke and kiddie porn...poor bastard.
