a night in the falls

A few pics from Niagra falls a few weeks ago.

treid getting soem of the falls themselfs.. but there was way to many people there to get a good look, so i gave up

got a few others though

And the lights they use to light up the falls.

after the fireworks were done the smoke was in still the air
creating this effect

I agree that your first and second shots are the nicest of the bunch. Excellent color and focus on those images; do you use a Fuji camera?

they were taken with a Nikon D50.

1st shot is a 10 second exposure, sat the camera on a concrete pillar,
since the fountian was a busy place. many people walking around it, but with the long exposure they almost all disappear. ( excpet for the headless guy on the right.. haha.

That being said, that second shot with everyone staring at the fireworks is
top notch. Love it.

i can go back

I only live a 15 min drive away lol (and just applied for a job at the skylon tower)
I just wasnt in the mood to deal with a 5 person thick line of people agasint the railing..
ecspecially with camera stuff.

il be back in a few months,
i want to get some good winter pics of the falls.

Heres one that sort of has the falls in it lol
thing im impressed with was the shots of the light beams were all hand held.. lol
had my tripod collapsed on the bottom of my cam still so its like 1 foot long,against my chest, stopped, held breath took these
