Fathersday is nearly upon us and I want to make my father in law a picture.

he is retired airforce and a few weeks back my husband his mum and dad went to DC to see some sights that his dad had always wanted to see, my picture is made up from those sights from the pictures I took while we were there.

Hubby likes the pic and thinks its fine, but this is the first time I have ever done anything like this and if I have made any obvious mistakes with blending or what ever pointers would be greatly recived b4 I get it printed.

Oh and it took me all evening to do LOL im not very good!

    Thanks

These sorts of images are a very personal taste, so it's a little difficult to comment on. I will say however that the Washington Monument seems a little distracting; perhaps increase transparency?

    Nice work!

I wish the transitions were smoother and more gradual.

    But very nice

Yeah im not too good at this and I knew waht i wanted to achive but I couldnt get the soft gradual edges that I wanted, now its a new day i am going to try again and see what I can do, its always good to get others opinions and a fresh set of eyes on something that you have stared at and worked on for hours :)
