A question for you guys that know how to deal with files.

I just recently downloaded and saved quite a few new photo filters for PSE8. Is it possible to rename these files, so when I go to select it in the filter tab, so it isn't as confusing?

Sometimes yes and sometimes no: it depends on just how the name is embedded into the file. However, you can rename the file and see if it works. Keep a copy somewhere else, else this fails. You can rename with the original name if it does not work.
