A shot from last night's walk

For the near 20 years I've been living here, I had no idea there was a walking path within walking distance of my house and so I decided to check it out. I wish I brought along my DSLR but I just brought along my RX100 M3.

I definitely been needing a change of place for my photography and this really was great, very beautiful place. Lots and lots of photo opportunities and boy once I get that 16-35 f/4, I'm going to have a blast here.

Anyways..here is a shot I took of the sun going down. Its not perfect...and partly due to the poor dynamic range of the 1" sensor but I still like it.

For me, it needs more contrast, not less. The shadows are too light IMO, bearing in mind you are shooting into the light
