A stroll in the snow C&C pls

A shot of my wife and dog walking in the snow. Snow is so difficult to expose correctly. I over-exposed this shot by one full stop.

What do you think? Too much or not enough. I seem to be losing detail where the dog's fur meets the snow.

This isn't really c & c - but just a comment as I was working on this earlier today...to my eye, overexposing it by one stop looks to me to be a tad too much. As I was saying before, that's what our instructor said to do yesterday - I understand why, but I'm not sure how to properly correct for it in PP.

Sorry that wasn't much help but thank you for posting it to help at least me out, and I have to believe there are other newbies who need snow help as well.

Shes very pretty and your wife is cute too............ ok ok ok good picture though I think you could have dropped the exposure some.

I may go back out tomorrow and bracket a bunch of shots to see where the best results come from.
