Man I love this place
No tricks here, just water skimming over outcrop.
Very nice... love the water movement. #4 is my fav but like them all!
I can see why you love it Great job with each of these John! I really especially like the first, the tones and movment are great.
I'm not sure I'd call them abstracts, but I would call them very good
My fav is No. 1, the colora and patterns really do it for me
wow brilliant exposures john! i love that effect
Excellent images John, my preference is the first and last, as they depict the movement of the water without the blownout look, which is so prevelent in this type of shot. Ernie
I really like the way the water looks in the last. Shows real movement.
I am also a fan of #1. Although it is a blurred pic, it is the sharpest. Does that make any sense? Oh yeah, and the colours are sweet.
Seems like you love "your" creek as much as I love "my" swamp .
The photos look as if you were in love... :blushing:
Exposure of Photo 1 is super-interesting, but my personal favourites are those with the specks of green from the tufts of grass.
With my little compact digital camera (the only one that I've got left for the time being ) I have tried to take long-exposure photos of flowing water much in vain so far, all "bloopers"..., but eventually I will get there. I have told myself so! *stomping foot* It is just so interesting to look at!
Thank you all, I appreaciate the comments.
Lafoto if you could get your hands on a couple of polarizers and but them in front of the lense it would buy you a much slower shutter speed , it would be a bit tricky, but possible. Playing with moving water is a lot of fun, seems to be an infinite amount of possibilities.
WOw...killer shots John and the colours are right on. Very well done. !!
loving these shots...nice
