Hi all,

Have finally got round to replacing my (very old) Olympus E-500 with a D5200. For those of you with the D5200 (or any other camera for that matter) what is the one extra bit you've bought that you can't live without and why?

Chris

an in body focusing motor so i can buy older AF and AF-D pro glass and still have it auto focus on my camera.

EDIT: misread "extra bit"

hot shoe flash and good tripod.

A sturdy tripod, hands down, is the absolute best investment you'll make outside of the body and lenses itself. Personally, I like Really Right Stuff, but there are other decent tripods out there as well.

I love my strap. I have the CarrySpeed, which is similar to the BlackRapids. If you do event photography this is a must have IMO. Cheap too!

Ditto! I have neck problems and I can carry the 70-200 f/2.8 all day without a single pain because of this strap. That's the heaviest lens I own. I have the CarrySpeed pro.
