So I've been reading Book1 of Ansel Adam's Basic Techniques of Photography, which has been a great read.

Does anyone know how his "Basic Technique" series (2 books) compares to the The Camrea, The Negative, and The Print? Is it a lot of the same material- is one more in depth than the other?

    Thanks,
    Erik

When I saw the title I figured a story about a cheating husband.

ANyway, I do not have the book - it looks interesting though. Even if it has some same points there are always other looks on things.

If I remember correctly, it goes into deeper detail about film and developing and then ventures into historic printing techniques, so it's a bit different than the first, which was a compilation of the classic books (#1, 2, and 3 of the 5 book series) edited and updated.
