ADDING BORDERS? Maybe WITHOUT photoshop

Hey guys, looking for a quick and easy way to add black or white borders to my pics, perhpaps WITHOUT photoshop. I dont really USE photoshop, so I'd prefer NOT to use it.

or hold a rectangular piece of card in front of your lens for all your pics

I've used black "Sharpie" markers or that white correction tape crap they sell at stationery stores, even better if you can nick it from the office. Excellent results from both, even after plaque mounting or laminating.
