I just don't see an incentive or upside for subscribing yearly instead of monthly. What kind of marketing is that?!

Bahahaha!! When you think about how "Adobe logic" works, it makes perfect sense though.

The only thing I can see as an "advantage" is that I guess that would lock you into the $9.99/month price, so if they go up in price during the year, you'd save money.
On the other hand, if they go up in price in the next year, I'd plan to just save myself the entire monthly expense and go back to just using my CS6 software.
 
Well, when they offer me 1 year for $99.99, I'll sign up. The ball is your court now, Adobe.

Some people just like the option of one payment a year instead of a monthly payment.
 
one payment and don't worry about it for 12 months
versus every month

I just prefer to buy it then I don't have to worry about it until I get a new computer.
but of course, if you like getting new cameras I noticed that they only provide support for newer cameras in newer versions.
