Adobe Image Ready - animation

I had been wondering what Adobe Image Ready was...and why it comes with Photoshop CS. There is even a function in Photoshop to "edit in Image Ready".

At first it appears to be a watered down version of Photoshop but I've learned that it's for making web graphics & animations etc.

I tried playing with it and here is what I came up with...

Awesome. Yeah, image ready is great for making animated gifs. It's also great for compressing jpgs to save for the web. It works as a plugin in photoshop when you do file/save for web, which I also do after resizing for my website.

It maybe intimidating but that's not me. It's my buddy who loves to make faces when a camera is pointed at him.
