This might be a millennial thing, but I'd be interested to get your thoughts on this idea - advertising with memes. Is it amusing, or would you consider it unprofessional and not want to hire that person?

Here is an example of one that I've done.

I like the concept, but that's too much reading for a "meme" IMO. I don't know how I feel about the text? I don't know if it's the bold font, size of the font, spacing between letters, or the high contrast... but it's not easy to read.

The text could be shortened for less reading:

Marcus is smart.

Marcus paid $100 for great photos.

Marcus hired DGM Photography.

Be like Marcus.

This concept isn't original, so be cognizant of that before proceeding.

I like the following better, but you probably shouldn't use Fry.

There are pros and cons to this. I guess it comes down to the clients you want to attract.

Agree; with a significant portion of my client base being 60+, this would NOT work at all for me, but for someone with a younger (say <mid 20s) client base, it might actually work well. It also needs to relate to the work you do; it probably wouldn't be appropriate if you're doing high-end fashion work, product or other commercial work.
