Advice on old SLR (Nikkormat FTN)

Took the camera to the 4th of July celebration last night and got some great pictures of my friends and their baby neice. Also, some not so great pictures, and one or two "WHAT was I THINKING?" pictures. I had the aperture all the way open as I was doing mostly portraits, and in more than one instance I missed the subject of the photo by six inches in focusing. Ah well, practice practice practice some more.

There's only one that's shaky, though!
